This is me. I live in the
Cambridgeshire fens with my husband, Chris, and my three children. I
was born in Hertfordshire in October 1967, which means I have now turned
forty! Life begins here then! I have been interested in my family's history since childhood, but until recently had not done any serious research into my background. However, the advent of the internet, and the many sites now available for genealogical research (see the useful links below) have made the first stages of research far easier. As a result, in the latter stages of 2006
I began to delve into my family's past. My research is still a very
long way from complete - I haven't even yet discovered all that I can from
the comfort of my own PC, let alone begun the much harder work of trawling
through the local parish records. Despite this, I have decided to
upload the information I do have onto the internet. Hopefully this will
give others the opportunity to view my research, and possibly either add
to it, or correct any errors. |
