Note on Wife: Florence Helen or Ellen WISBEY
Some confusion over Florence's birth date and name. Florence H Wisbey is listed as a niece staying with Mary and James Sell on the 1901 census aged 4, which places her year of birth at around 1896/97. The only Florence Wisbey in the records matching those details is registered as Florence Ellen, b Q1 1897. Florence was the informant on Emma Amelia's death certificate, and her name is given as Florence H Green. The marriage records also list Florence H Wisbey marrying Herbert Green. The is an entry in the death register for Q3 1980 for a Florence Helen Green b18.01.1897, the death was registered in Uttlesford (a district of Essex). For the time being my assumption is that all the above records relate to Emma's daughter, Florence, and I am obtaining copy certificates for clarification.
13/01/09 The 1911 census confirms that Florence Helen Wisbey was still resident with the Sell family at Blacksmith House, Ugley and gives her age as 14.
